When making electronic payments (EFT's, etc.), we suggest using the name of the person/company paying and being paid as the references, rather than what the payment is for. For example, if ABC Ltd is paying XYZ Supplies Ltd, ABC should use the following references:
Own reference: XYZ Supplies Ltd
Beneficiary reference: ABC Ltd
